The Brandon-Evansville boys' basketball dropped a road game to Hancock by a score of 77-57 on Tuesday night. The chargers made 41% (21-51) of their field goal attempts in the game, including 8-of-23 (34%) from 3-point range.  Hancock led 36-32 at the half and outscored the Chargers 41-26 over the final 18 minutes.

“The first half was an offensive battle and that doesn't play to our advantage,” stated B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “Give Hancock credit, they shot the ball extremely well. We were missing one of our best defenders tonight due to illness and it really showed. We got gassed late in the second half and Hancock took advantage of that.”

Tanner Bitzan led the Chargers with a double-double (23 points, 10 rebounds), making 9-of-13 shots from the floor. He also had 3 steals and 3 assists. Keagan Schiele dished out a team high 8 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds. Marshall Riedel contributed 11 points and 3 boards and Tyler Bitzan had 8 points. Eli Anderson finished with 7 points and 2 steals.

The Chargers (8-9) will host Battle Lake on Friday night in Evansville.
