Mackenzie Foss led Hillcrest with 20 points, 6 steals and 4 rebounds.  Olivia Fossadded 10 points, 7 steals and 5 rebounds, while Anna Rasmussen scored 9 points and dished out 2 assists.  Regan Wiertzema and Molly McGuire added 7 and 6 rebounds, respectively.

"Anna Rasmussen did a great job defending Jaiden Conroy (10 points) and limited her looks at the basket," said Hillcrest Head Coach Hannah Clark.  "As a team we did a nice job executing our defensive plan, we just needed to do a better job of boxing out.  We gave up some costly rebounds near the end of the game that Ortonville was able to capitalize on.  Offensively, Mackenzie and Olivia did a nice job attacking the basket.  Anna had a couple of great put-backs that gave us some momentum."

Hillcrest will host Battle Lake on Tuesday and Wheaton/Herman-Norcross on Thursday.
