“Once again our defense played well and because of that we got a nice road win,” reported B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “I thought we did a lot of nice things defensively to hold them to only 40 points. Marshall Riedel played a great game overall, no turnovers, played great defense, and I think that's what helped get him going offensively as well. We are really playing well as a team and it's fun to watch.”
Riedel scored 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting. He was joined in double digits by Tanner Bitzan with a dozen. Bitzan completed a double-double by grabbing 10 rebounds. Riedel also had 4 assists, 2 steals and 3 rebounds.
The Chargers (8-8) will play at Hancock on Tuesday night and will host Battle Lake on Friday night in Evansville.
