Spartans Score 94 in Road Loss to Western Tech

Western Wisconsin Technical College defeated M State 97-94 in College Men’s Basketball action on Thursday night in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. The home team shot 46% (35-76) from the field and had six players in double digits. 

 

The Spartans continued their excellent three-point shooting, hitting 17-of-32 (53%) from beyond the arc, led by Samuel Priem (5-7), TJ Martin (5-8) and Kyler Newman (4-6). Newman led the team with 25 points off the bench. Martin finished with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, and Priem had 17 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Austin Miller was also in double figures with 13 points and just missed a double-double, dishing out 9 of the Spartans 26 team assists. 

Justen Kidd (12 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists) recorded a triple-double and two other players, Kadar Farah (17 points, 16 rebounds) and Andrew Scott (14 points, 10 rebounds) contributed double-doubles in the win for Western Tech.
