Zierden got the Otters on the scoreboard first when she scored form Sophie Rausch and Hallie Sheridan at 16:45 of the first period.
Thief River Falls tied the game 1:28 into the second on a goal by Haylie Rogalla, assisted by Dakota Klosterman.
Rausch gave the Otters a 2-1 lead at 7:50 of the third, assisted by Piper Andrews, however, the Prowlers tied the game with a power play goal from Shelby Breiland, setup by Hannah Magnusson at 10:54.
Fergus Falls put 27 shots on goal in the game and goalie Jadyn McKeever stopped 19 of 21 shots by Thief River Falls.
“What a great game for the fans and youth players tonight,” said Head Coach Tim Lill of Fergus Falls. “That was a grinder for both teams. I was very proud of the compete in the Otters even when we couldn’t get it to click. It was an awesome way for the seniors to finish their home schedule.”
Fergus Falls will close out their regular season schedule with a makeup game at Moorhead on Tuesday night.
