"After a very good start we got a little lazy on both ends of the floor," noted Underwood Head Coach Brian Hovland. "Rothsay did a great job of hitting their open shots and we went cold. The second half started out the same way the first ended. We were able to get in a rhythm offensively about five minutes into the half and go on a run. I was veryhappy withi how balanced our scoring was."
Ceri Meech (14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals), Morgan Evavold (13 points, 10 rebounds), Kayla Rocholl (12 points, 5 rebounds, 6 steals), Ally Johnson (9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 assists), Brooke Hovland (7 points, 6 rebounds) and Josey Bugbee (6 points, 5 rebounds) all put up good numbers for the Rocket girls.
Underwood (15-2) won for a sixth straight time. They will play Brandon-Evansville on Tuesday night in Brandon.
Rothsay (2-17) suffered their seventh consecutive loss. They will be in Hancock Monday night to face the Owls.
