"With it being our third game this week we got off to a slow start defensively and gave up too many easy baskets early in the game," reported Underwood Head Coach Brian Hovland.  "Hancock did a nice job of keeping us off balance and they were able to get to the line or make easy buckets.  We struggled from the free thow line, going 12-for-23.  That's something that we need to get better at, as we work towards the end of the season and the playoffs."

Underwood was led by Brooke Hovland (18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals), Kayla Rocholl (16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals) and Morgan Evavold (11 points, 7 rebounds).

The Rockets will host Brandon-Evansville in a Little Eight Conference matchup on Tuesday night.
