The defensive standouts for the game were Josey Ness and Courtney Koefod as they were tasked with slowing down Rothsay’s high scoring guard combination of Jayna Gronewold and Jenna Fabre, respectively.

Kalista Aamot led the team in scoring with 12 tallies and in rebounding. Also scoring in double figures were Koefod and Celi Nelson each with 11. With her 11 points, Courtney Koefod moves to within 14 points of reaching the coveted 1,000 career scoring mark. 

Ashby has a home game scheduled with New York Mills for Monday, January 28 before starting a four game road trip at Swanville on Friday, February 1.
