Senior Josey Ness was the only player to reach double figures, hitting four 3-pointers on the way to an 18 point night Monday in Ashby as the lady Arrows posted a 47-31 victory over Hillcrest Lutheran Academy.

Kalista Aamot scored 5 points, dished out 3 assists and gathered 17 rebounds for Ashby, and Courtney Koefod added seven points and seven assists.

Anna Rasmussen led Hillcrest with 7 points and 15 rebounds, and Audra Ewanpulled down 10 rebounds and distributed 3 assists.  Mackenzie FossAbby Heikesand Olivia Foss each contributed six points for the Comets.

"We lost Olivia Foss early in the game to an injury and it took our girls a little time to get back into any offensive rhythm," said Hillcrest Head Coach Hannah Clark.  "We made some changes at halftime and we did a much better job in the second half of being patient on offense and shooting high percentage shots.  We had multiple people step up and knock down shots for us.  Anna and Audra rebounded very well for our team."

Ashby (4-11) snapped a seven game losing streak with the win.  The lady Arrows will host Rothsay on Thursday night.

Hillcrest (2-10) is at home to Underwood on Thursday.
