Brandon-Evansville led 29-7 at halftime and finished the night with a 52-12 home court victory over Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Thursday night.

“We came ready to play and had a great game start to finish,” said Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Sam Lange. “Our defense was great all night long which led to a lot of fast break points.”

Kristen Kokett buried three 3’s and finished with a game high 15 points. Madison Quinn scored all eight of her points in the second half and Bailey Schaefercontributed 7 points for the Chargers.

Hillcrest was led by Olivia Foss (7 points, 6 rebounds) and Mackenzie Foss (5 points).

“We didn’t play together as a team and weren’t ready to compete,” said Hillcrest Head Coach Hannah Clark. “We struggled with their defensive pressure and tried to force things on offense. We need to learn to take care of the ball and value our possessions.”

Brandon-Evansville (11-2) will play at Rothsay on Tuesday night, while Hillcrest (2-9) is at Ashby on Monday night.
