“The girls played a great defensive first half holding them to 11 points,” said B-E Head Coach Sam Lange. “We started off the 2nd half a little sluggish and Ortonville did a good job taking advantage of it. Our bench provided the energy we needed and was pivotal in this win.”
Kailee Klimek was the top scorer for the Chargers with 9 points. Haddey Zastrowscored 8 points and Mikenna Pattrin added 7 points. Caitlyn Deschene and Brittany Korkowski each had six points for Brandon-Evansville.
Emily Ross and Megan Radermacher each scored 12 points and Jaiden Conroyhad eight points.
B-E (10-2) will host Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in a Little Eight Conference game on Thursday.
