Ashby Boys Improve to 7-3 with 51-46 Win Over Chargers

The Ashby Arrows Boys Basketball Team defeated the Brandon-Evansville Chargers 51-46 on Tuesday night in Ashby.  The host Arrows led 24-22 at halftime. 

Scott Johnson scored 16 of his game high 22 points in the second half.  Christian Norby contributed 14 points.  Rounding out the scoring for the Arrows were Jaden Norby with 8, Dakota Ecker added five points and Noah Johnson scored a two point basket. 

“Scott Johnson made some big shots from the field and the free throw line down the stretch,” said Ashby Head Coach John Holsten.  “The Chargers were outstanding on the offensive glass getting two and three shots per possession several times to stay in the game.” 

The Arrows overall record stands at 7-3.  Their Little Eight Conference record goes to 4-1.  The Arrows host the Underwood Rockets Friday.
