The Hancock Owls defeated the Brandon-Evansville Chargers by a score of 58-54 in Evansville on Tuesday night. The Owls led 29-25 at the half and the two teams played even in the second half with each team scoring 29 points over the final eighteen minutes.

“The Owls are a good offensive team who have multiple guys who can score,” commented B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “We did a decent job guarding them, but just didn't put enough stops together. Offensively our lack of consistency hurt us. We had a run in the first half and a nice run in the second half, but it wasn't enough.”

Titus Fuller and Sam Fuller led the Chargers with 15 and 14 points, respectively. Eli Anderson joined them in double figures with 11 points and Tanner Bitzanadded 9 points. Anderson completed his double-double with 11 rebounds and Bitzan finished with 9 boards and 5 assists. Keagan Schiele had a team high six assists, pulled down six rebounds and came up with 5 steals.

The loss was the third in a row for the Chargers (5-5), who will host Underwood in a Little Eight Conference matchup on Thursday in Evansville.
