“We were able to build a little bit of a lead early in the first half, but Ashby did a good job battling back,” said B-E Head Coach Sam Lange. “In the second half we were able to get to the basket and our defense really stepped up.”
Ashby was led by Celi Nelson with 9 points and Amelia Barry with 5.
Brandon-Evansville (9-1) recorded their ninth straight victory. They will host Parkers Prairie on Friday in Brandon.
Ashby (3-7) will host Wheaton/Herman-Norcross on Thursday and will travel to Underwood for a Little Eight Conference game on Friday.
