Mikenna Pattrin and Haddey Zastrow each scored ten points on Tuesday night, leading the Brandon-Evansville girls basketball team to a 50-30 win over Ashby. Madison Quinn added 9 points for the Chargers.

“We were able to build a little bit of a lead early in the first half, but Ashby did a good job battling back,” said B-E Head Coach Sam Lange. “In the second half we were able to get to the basket and our defense really stepped up.”

Ashby was led by Celi Nelson with 9 points and Amelia Barry with 5.

Brandon-Evansville (9-1) recorded their ninth straight victory. They will host Parkers Prairie on Friday in Brandon.

Ashby (3-7) will host Wheaton/Herman-Norcross on Thursday and will travel to Underwood for a Little Eight Conference game on Friday.
