The Park Christian Falcons overcame a 24-20 halftime deficit to defeat the Underwood Rockets 61-51 on Tuesday night in Moorhead.

"We just didn't quite get to the same intensity level as our opponents did tonight and that led to some mistakes on both ends of the court," said Underwood Head Coach Evan Meece.  "Winston Heifort really came out and had a great game, scoring 17 and probably adding in double digit rebounds.  We worked well to get him the ball to keep usinig our size advantage, but Park Christian made some adjustments and caused us to force some passes that weren't there.  Taking away the unforced errors and the lower shooting percentage than we like, we played a pretty good game.  If we get some shots to fall our way and make some more free throws (9-22), the game turns the other way."

Krosby Aasness (12) and Daxton Olson (10) joined Heifort in double figures.

Park Christian School placed three players in double digits, led by Tanner Brunsberg with 16 points.  Jacob Jelinski and Andy Lien added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Underwood (2-7) will travel to Evansville on Thursday night to face the Brandon-Evansville Chargers.
