“We had a very good effort tonight at Parkers after a three-week break from games,” commented Head Coach Gregg Preston of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy. “Nick Foss, Micah Foss, and Gabriel Preston defended well on the perimeter. They defended the ball screens, communicated well, and limited penetration to the basket. Despite shooting poorly from the floor, we shot free throws very well down the stretch to secure a 50-46 win. Gabriel Preston connected on all 8 of his free throw attempts in the last few minutes and finished with 19 points and Sander Frustol played another very solid game with 16 points and pulling down 12 boards.” 

Hillcrest shot 33% (15-46) from the field and made 16-of-23 free throws. 

Hillcrest (2-2) will play Park Christian School on Saturday night in Moorhead.
