Four Arrows Reach Double Digits in Win Over Warriors

The Ashby Arrows Boys Basketball Team defeated the Wheaton-Herman-Norcross Warriors 81-32 in a game played at the gym in Herman on Thursday night. The Arrows led 46-15 at halftime.

For the third consecutive game the Arrows landed four players in double figures.  Scott Johnson led all scorers with 21 points.  Christian Norby completed a double-double scoring 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.  Jaden Norby netted 12 points and Hunter Norby contributed 10.  Also getting in the scoring column for the Arrows were Noah Johnson with 7, Dakota Ecker had 6, Carter Spangler 5, and Jake Rein scored 3.  The Arrows outrebounded the Warriors 33-29.  WHN committed 23 turnovers while the Arrows turned it over just 7 times.

"We shot the ball well early in the game and were extremely active defensively to get the lead," said Head Coach John Holsten of the Arrows.  "It was a total team effort on both sides of the floor."

The win moves the Arrows season record to 5-2.  Their next game is Monday night as the Arrows host the Pelican Rapids Vikings.
