Following a scoreless first period, Forest Lake notched a pair of second period goals. Rachel Golnitz scored from Bailey O’Donovan and Brooke Remington at 10:46. Sydney Schmidt scored a power play goal from Lillian Walesheck and Sydney Rydel at 14:55 giving Forest Lake a 2-0 lead.
Remington added an unassisted shorthanded goal at 4:20 of the third period.
Fergus Falls (11-5) will host Willmar in a Central Lakes Conference contest on Thursday. The loss ended a three game winning streak for the Otters.
Forest Lake improved to 14-1 on the season.
