Senior Lily Pearson (24 points, 10 rebounds) and freshman Ellie Colbeck (17 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists) each recorded a double-double on Tuesday night to lead the Fergus Falls girls basketball team to their seventh straight win, a 67-46 victory over the St. Cloud Tech Tigers.

Coming off a road win in Sauk Rapids on Monday night the Otters were sluggish at the start of the game on Tuesday, but were able to build a twelve point first half lead on the way to a 23-13 advantage at the half.  St. Cloud Tech hung around most of the second half, getting the lead down under ten points late in the game before the Otters pulled away down the stretch.

Tori Ratz hit four 3's on the way to a 14 point performance.  She also had 4 assists on the night.  Sam Evavold dished out six assists in the game and Sabrina Fronning had another solid all-around effort with 5 points, 6 steals and 5 assists.  The Otters had a total of 21 assists.

St. Cloud Tech heated up from the 3-point line in the second half, hitting seven of their eight treys over the final eighteen minutes.  Genaya Murray buried three of them and was one of three players with ten points for the Tigers.  The others were Meya Washington and Rachel KaczorEmma Imdieke added 8 points off the bench.

"It was good to see us move the ball tonight with 21 assisted baskets," said Fergus Falls Head Coach Brad Strand.  "Tech came in and played hard.  They hit some tough shots.  Offensively, we need to work at scoring against a zone.  Tech played their zone well and we struggled to get our offense going against it."

Fergus Falls improved to 8-0 with a 60-21 JV win.  They were led by Svea Smestad (15), Olivia Kaliher (11) and Anna Anderson (10).  The B team also improved to 8-0 with a 66-19 victory behind 15 from Hannah Polejewski and 10 from Emily Nuss.  The B team held the Tigers to four points in the second half.

The Otters will host their Christmas Holiday Tournament next Thursday and Friday.
