The Fergus Falls girls basketball team recorded their sixth consecutive victory on Monday night when they handed Sauk Rapids-Rice a 59-30 loss in a Central Lakes Conference road game.  The Otters led 33-19 at the half.

"I liked out defensive intensity to start the second half," said Head Coach Brad Strand of the Otters.  "We turned it up a notch and that set the tone for the rest of the game.  Coaches like to do that in the first two minutes of the second half and the girls came out of the halftime break ready."

Ellie Colbeck turned in a game high 14 points, while Lily Pearson and Tori Ratz each had eleven points.  Pearson had a team high 5 rebounds.  Sabrina Fronning turned in another solid floor game with 9 points, 5 steals and 3 assists.

Grace Roesch and Bailey Roscoe scored 10 and 9 points, respectively, to lead the Storm.

The JV won 58-23 to improve their record to 7-0.  Anna Anderson scored 16 points and Olivia Kaliher added 13.  In the B game Fergus Falls posted a 51-11 win, also improving their record to 7-0.  Hannah Polejewski led the Otters with 17 points and Katie Strommen finished with 11.

Fergus Falls will host St. Cloud Tech in another Central Lakes Conference matchup on Tuesday night.
