Fergus Falls Volleyball Awards

Senior middle hitter Lily Pearson was named the MVP of the Fergus Falls volleyball team and also received All-Conference recognition in the Central Lakes Conference. Pearson also received the Best Blocker and Best Hitter awards. 

 

Emma NorgardHallie Sheridan and Sabrina Fronning were All-Conference Honorable Mention selections. 

Other award winners were Ingrid Salvesen (Most Inspirational), Emma Norgard (Best Defense), Kaia Strom (Best Setter, Best Server), Jade Zierden (Most Versatile, Best Team Player) and Sabrina Fronning (Ms. Hustle). 

Greta Christenson and Hannah Prody shared the Most Improved Player award, Sheridan and Norgard shared the Best Passer award, Sheridan and Prody were recipients of the Jugular Award and Hailey Macheledt and Gretchen Davis were recognized as Best Practice Players. The Coaches Award went to Paige Pearson, Hallie Sheridan and Sabrina Fronning. 

Lily Pearson, Hailey Macheledt and Emma Norgard qualified as Minnesota State High School League All-State Academic student-athletes as seniors with a 3.8 GPA or higher. The Otters earned the Team Gold Academic Standard with a 3.744 GPA and also won the CLC Sportsmanship Award. 

Lily Pearson finished fourth all time with 183 career blocks and fifth in kills with 703. Norgard ends up sixth in digs with 663 and Sheridan finished tenth all time with 462 digs.
