“I thought we came out with a little more fire tonight than we had the other two games this season,” said Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “We talked about some adjustments during our halftime and the players did a nice job doing those things in the second half. We had an 11 point lead with 7:00 to go in the game and we let Browerville get back into the game. We have to do a better job of closing out games when we get the chance. We are continuing to learn, and have to do so quickly with a very good opponent coming to our gym on Tuesday night in Hillcrest.”
Senior center Eli Anderson led the Chargers with 14 points on 4-of-5 shooting. He was joined in double digits by Titus Fuller with 12 points and Tanner Bitzan with 11. Bitzan completed a double-double by pulling in 14 rebounds and also had a team high 5 assists. Marshall Riedel added 9 points and 4 assists, and Keagan Schiele had 7 points and 4 rebounds.
