The Brandon/Evansville Chargers Boys' Basketball team recorded a 73-52 win over Swanville on Friday night in Evansville.

“Overall, I thought we did some good things tonight,” said Chargers Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “Our defense needs to get better, but we will continue to work on that. We were able to get all 15 guys in the game tonight and see 11 of them get into the scoring column. Keagan Schiele (11 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 assists) was a great floor general. I thought we had multiple players take steps forward which is always a good thing to say. Tanner Bitzan (8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals) did a lot for us on both ends of the floor tonight. His size and agility really helps on the defensive end of the floor. Marshall Riedel (13 points, 3 rebounds) and Zack Haugen (13 points) led our team in scoring, but it really came down to overall balance within our offense.”

Sam Fuller added 5 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots, and Titus Fuller contributed 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Jesse Perleberg grabbed six rebounds.

“I look forward to a tough opponent on Tuesday as we take on a very good Henning team,” said Coach Hintermeister.
