M State had four players in double digits, led by Sydney Hovland with 16 points and Megan Dreger with 11. Dreger made 5-of-7 shots from the field and pulled down a team high 7 rebounds. Olivia Winfrey and Alexa Mortenson contributed 10 points apiece and Kassandra Algarate grabbed 6 boards and went 4-for-4 from the free throw line. As a team the lady Spartans shot just 38% (23-60) from the floor, but made 11-of-12 freethrows. Winfrey dished out 5 assists and came up with 4 steals in the contest.
Paige Vorwaller (25 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals) and Tara Chamberlain (20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals) were the leaders for Treasure Valley. Meriah Deugan added 12 points and 5 steals, and Samantha Jessopscored 10 points.
Treasure Valley forced 38 Spartan turnovers and came up with 31 team steals, while hitting 49.4% (44-89) of their shots from the floor.
M State will play the College of Southern Idaho on Saturday night.
