The Rothsay boys basketball team lost 3-year starters Wyatt Curtis and Landon Lang to graduation, however, the Tigers six letter winners, including three starters, for the 2018-2019 season, looking to improve on their 8-18 record of a year ago.

Senior Parker Keep (C), sophomore Colby Larson (G) and freshman Tanner Heier (G) are the returning starters for fourth year head coach Taylor Fuhs.  Seniors Cole Weets (F) and Jacob Christ (F), and junior Ethan Curtis (G) are all returning letter winners.

"We do return three starters from last years team, but we have a lot of guys stepping into new roles this season," said Fuhs.  "We have some upperclassmen that have been in our system for a couple of years now and we are excited to see what they can bring to the team this year.  It's going to be a year of consistency.  We have some young and very talented players, but we will need to be diligent about bringing the same energy and effort each night."

Seniors Thomas Webster (G) and Braden Moen (F) are also expected to see extensive varsity court time for the Tigers.

Chris Heier and Jamie Nordick will serve as assistants on the staff.

Fuhs sees Parkers Prairie and Hillcrest as the top teams in the Little Eight Conference, while Henning, Mahnomen/Waubun, Ortonville and Parkers Prairie should be among the favorites in Section 6A.
