“This team gained a lot of varsity experience last year and I expect it to pay off this season,” stated Clark. “We will have a more balanced attack from both the guard and post positions than we had last year. We won’t be a very tall team, so we will have to rely on hard work and our athleticism when playing teams with more height. These girls put in a ton of work during the off-season and are eager to prove they can compete with the teams in our conference.” 

Captains Olivia Foss (Sr, F), Augusta Ewan (Sr, G) and Anna Rasmussen (Jr, F) will lead the Comets. Returning starters include Foss, Rasmussen, Mackenzie Foss(So, G) and Audra Ewan (So, G). Other letter winners coming back are Molly McGuire (Jr, F), Kate Peterson (Jr, G), Amelia Holmquist (Jr, F) and Cassandra Twedt (So, G). Senior guard Darya Wolniak rounds out the varsity roster.

Clark, who will be assisted by Sarah Jensen and Matt Holmquist, sees Ada-Borup and Pelican Rapids as the teams to beat in Section 6A, while Parkers Prairie and Underwood should be among the top teams in the Little Eight Conference.
