Little Eight Conference All-Conference Volleyball Team

Senior Emma Fitzgibbons (outside hitter/setter) of Underwood was named the Most Valuable Player in the Little Eight Conference and Kelly Olson of Brandon-Evansville was selected as Conference Coach of the Year as the Little Eight announced their All-Conference Team and awards for 2018. 

 

Brandon-Evansville had senior Madison Quinn (Setter) and sophomores Bailey Schaefer (outside hitter) and Mikenna Pattrin (middle hitter) named to the LEC First team and senior Sara Jacobson (libero) was selected to the LEC Second team. Junior Brittany Korkowski (right side hitter) was an honorable mention choice. 

Underwood had Fitzgibbons on the first team, and juniors Shaynah Smith (middle hitter) and Kayla Rocholl (libero) on the second team. Sophomore Brooke Hovland (outside hitter) was an honorable mention selection. 

Battle Lake senior Allison Marso (middle hitter) was a first team selection. Honorable mention honors went to seniors Hayle Knudson (setter) and Hailey Smith (libero). 

Parkers Prairie placed senior Veronica Swartz (outside hitter) and junior Hali Moske (outside hitter) on the first team, with sophomore Faith Alberts (middle hitter) named to the second team. Senior Chloe Thue (defensive specialist) was an honorable mention selection. 

Hillcrest senior Olivia Foss (middle hitter), junior Hanna Brennhaug (setter) and sophomore Mackenzie Foss (libero) were second team selections. Honorable mention went to junior Alida Viksoy (middle hitter). 

Ashby senior Josey Ness (outside hitter) and Rothsay junior Jayna Gronewold(libero/right side hitter) were honorable mention choices. 

Brandon-Evansville won the Little Eight Conference title with a perfect 12-0 conference record. Underwood had ten wins.
