The High School football season ended for Brandon-Evansville on Tuesday night when they lost to Hancock 43-12 in the quarterfinal round of the Section 4 9-Man playoffs.

“Tough night tonight on both sides of the ball,” said Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Tim Pattrin.  “Hancock did a great job controlling the clock and taking care of the ball.  We just couldn't get going or sustain drives.  We lose Chris Vinsontonight to graduation.  Chris has been a 3 year starter for us and has had a very successful carrier in a Charger uniform.  His tough reliable play will be missed and hard to replace.  We wish him luck in all his future endeavors.”

The Chargers scored on a 47 yard pass from Keagan Schiele to Marshall Riedelin the second quarter and added a three yard TD run by Schiele in the fourth quarter.

Hancock compiled 406 yards of total offense, led by 365 rushing yards. The Owls had 26 first downs and converted 10-of-15 third down situations. Tyler Timmerman ran for 243 yards on 28 carries and scored three touchdowns. Jed Fuechtenberger had 94 yards on 21 attempts and got in the end zone twice. Quarterback Preston Rohloff completed 6-of-13 passes for 41 yards.

Brandon-Evansville ran for just 41 yards and had 106 passing yards for a total of 147 yards on the night. Schiele was 8-for-17 throwing the football and Cade Carlson led the Chargers ground game with 30 yards on 4 carries. Riedell caught three passes for 67 yards.

Brandon-Evansville ends the season with a 4-5 record.
