The Fergus Falls volleyball team won the title at their Blocktoberfest Tournament on Thursday at Kennedy Secondary School. 

 

"We played really good volleyball today," said Head Coach Renee Erickson of the Otters.  "We were really ready to compete.  The girls were focused and played with a mission.  We've been talking about finishing stronger and today we saw it happen.  It was an all around team effort."

 

Leaders for Fergus Falls were Lily Pearson (24 kills, 23/26 serving, 3 aces, 10 blocks), Hallie Sheridan (18 digs, 40/42 serving, 4 aces), Sabrina Fronning (12 kills, 25 digs, 18/23 serving, 1 ace, 2 blocks), Emma Norgard (33 digs, 38/41 serving, 7 aces), Hannah Prody (18 kills, 6 blocks), Jade Zierden (10 kills, 17 digs, 22/22 serving, 4 aces, 3 blocks) and Kaia Strom (4 kills, 19 digs, 38/39 serving, 4 aces, 4 blocks, 60 set assists).
