The M State volleyball team won a 3-2 (25-23, 14-25, 25-16, 24-26, 15-8) match over Minnesota West on Friday night.

“Even though the match went five sets, I thought the team played consistently well the whole night,” said head volleyball coach Abby Crowser. “They also did a great job of staying positive and everyone out on the court contributed. It’s so fun to see the team really starting to click and play well together, especially at this point in the season.”

Ekse had a team high 7 blocks and Algarate added 3 blocks. Katie Merrick contributed 7 kills and 6 blocks and Megan Dreger had 6 kills and 3 blocks. Sydney Hovland distributed 34 set assists, had 3 blocks and 19 digs. Mia Greenman had 20 digs and Taylor Berndt registered a team high 31 digs.
