"It was the blessing and curse of a volleyball game during a very full and active Homecoming week and a very cold gym that impacted our play tonight,” stated Hillcrest Head Coach Debi Foss. “We struggled to get into a rhythm and get our full game going. While it's a disappointing loss after Tuesday nights battle, we have to remember how far we have come since last season and the large strides we continue to make." 

The Comets were led by Hanne Brennhaug (6 kills, 8 digs, 7 set assists), Alida Viksoy (4 kills), Lydia Juhl (3 kills), Olivia Foss (3 kills, 12 digs), Audra Ewan(7 set assists, 4 digs) and Mackenzie Foss (12 digs).

The Comets last regular season dual is Tuesday at home against the Rothsay Tigers. They will also compete in the Blocktober Fest Tournament on Thursday at Fergus Falls High School
