Otter Girls End Regular Season with 6-0 Win in Crookston

The Fergus Falls girls soccer team ended their regular season with a solid 6-0 win in Crookston on Monday.

Sophie Rausch scored on a long shot less than three minutes into the game, assisted by Miranda Hoffman.  Just over four minutes later Hannah Johnson crashed the net and scored from Mady Eklund.  With 29:05 remaining in the first half Piper Andrews scored from Eklund and the Otters led 3-0.  They took a 4-0 lead when Grace Metcalf scored from Rausch with 12:43 left in the half.

The Otters added second half goals by Johnson, from Rausch and Eklund from Johnson.

"This was a well-timed game for our team going into the playoffs," noted Head Coach Ben Jurgens.  "It allowed everyone the opportunity to play and helps us end the regular season on a ppositive note."
