Pelican Rapids Boys Bury Walker-Hackensack-Akeley

The Pelican Rapids boys soccer team bounced back from their loss to state-ranked Bemidji with an emphatic victory in Walker on Thursday, beating Walker-Hackensack-Akeley by the score of 17-0.

 

Mohamed Isse led the Vikings with six goals and two assists, while Khadar Ibrahim and Alan Villagomez socred 2 goals and had 2 assits.  Sebastian Rosilesscored twice and assisted on one goal.  Alfredo Centeno had one assist, while Habram Martinez scored one goal.  Jesus Moreno and Sebastian Centeno also added one goal and one assist each, and Josh Urbano picked up an assist.

"The win gave us extra reason to celebrate as it marked our fifth win of the season and surpassed the previous mark for most wins in a season which we set last season," said Head Coach John Peter

The Vikings (5-3-1) will host former co-op partner Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Saturday.
