"It's nice to get two wins in a row during homecoming week," said Otter Assistant Coach Denny Hystead. "Our blocking game has really improved lately and that has improved our overall team defense and really, our whole game has botten better because of it."
The Otters were 88-for-94 (93.6%) on the serving line. They were led by Hallie Sheridan (15/15, 1 ace), Emma Norgard (20/21, 4 aces), Kaia Strom (16/17), Jade Zierden (7/8), Lily Pearson (13/14, 2 aces) and Sabrina Fronning (17/19, 2 aces).
Pearson led the attack with 17 kills and 4 blocks, Fronning added 9 kills and Zierden contributed 6 kills.
Defensively, Zierden led the way with 19 digs. sheridan had 15 digs, Norgard 11 digs, Fronning 9 digs and Strom 7 digs. Strom also had 31 set assists and 3 blocks.
