The first set went back and forth with the score tied several times before the Battlers won.  The Battlers had a solid lead in set 2 when Parkers pushed back and the Battlers lost their focus.  Battle Lake was able to recover from a slow start in set 3 and take the final two sets. The Battlers led set 4 from start to finish with Allison Marso putting down the final kill. 

“We mixed things up tonight and the girls responded well,” commented Battle Lake Head Coach Jenny Roisum. “This was a great team win.”

Marso finished with 19 kills and 6 blocks. Kate Christensen added 7 kills and 8 digs. Abbey Bellig had 12 digs and Makenna Tysdal was 21/22 serving.  Hayle Knudson dished out 24 assists while Grace VanErp had 9 assists. The Battlers head to Ashby next Tuesday.
