The Battlers had a few new faces on the floor tonight and it took a while for the team to find a good playing rhythm.  Wheaton went on a few big scoring runs in each set that gave them a lead that the Battlers could not overcome. The Battlers pushed back and played some of their best volleyball of the night in the final 10 points of the match.  

“I saw a lot of good things tonight and we will continue to improve and learn in each match,” said Head Coach Jenny Roisum. 

Allison Marso led the Battlers with 13 kills and 6 blocks. Hayle Knudson dished out 17 assists and was 9/9 serving.  Hailey Smith added 9 digs and Kate Christensen had 5 kills. 

The Battlers head to Frazee on Thursday afternoon.
