The Ashby girls’ basketball team made the road trip to Hancock on Monday night for a Little Eight Conference game.  The Arrows had beaten the Owls earlier this season, but Hancock came out fast and aggressive, ready to avenge the loss they suffered in Ashby.  Hancock led at halftime, 45-13, and went on to beat the Arrows, 63-27.

Ashby had six different players in the scoring column, but no ne reached double figures.  Sophomores Laila Schroeder and Abby Hokanson led the way with 6 points each, while 8th-grader Aubrey Walvatne and senior Chloe Finkelson added 5 points apiece.

The Arrows (7-13) will host Brandon-Evansville on Friday night.

Hancock (10-7) has a home game with Parkers Prairie on Thursday night.

No Hancock stats were reported.
