Annie Mayer, a senior on the Fergus Falls girls’ golf team, qualified for the State Class AA Girls Golf Tournament with a sixth place finish in the Section 8AA Tournament which was held at the Bemidji Town and Country Club.  Mayer shot a two-day total of 163 to secure a return to the Ridges at Sand Creek Golf Club in Jordan.  For her efforts, Annie is the Olson Oil Company Athlete of the Week.

“Annie Mayer qualified for state for the fifth time in her high school career,” noted head coach Ben Jurgens of the Otters.  “She was so in control of her game the past two days.”
