Ellie Sticha of the Alexandria girls’ golf team is the Olson Oil Company Athlete of the Week.  Sticha recorded a two-day score of 157 to claim medalist honors in the Section 8AAA Tournament at the Headwaters Golf Club in Park Rapids, leading the Cardinals to the Section team title.

Sticha followed an excellent first day score of 76 with an 81 on day two, winning the individual championship by 2 strokes over Layla Matthews of Becker.
