Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton overcame a 27-20 halftime deficit to defeat the Menahga Braves, 48-46 on Tuesday in the Section 8AA semifinals at Concordia College in Moorhead. DGF improved to 23-5 with the win and will play for a section title for the first time since 2016. The top-seeded Rebels will face second-seeded Barnesville at 8:00pm Friday at Concordia for the Section 8AA title. Barnesville held on for a 47-45 win over Pelican Rapids in the other semifinal contest.
Greta DeVries and Danielle Boyd each scored 11 points and Aria Garrett joined them in double figures with 10 points to lead the Rebels.
The Braves were led by Dreah Christiansen and Taija Pinoniemi with 16 points apiece. The Braves season ended with a record of 24 wins and 5 losses.
