Bethel broke the single game scoring record by scoring 42 points to break Jason Retzlaff’s record of 41.  He also broke Nate Rund’s all-time scoring record of 1804 points, and passed Jason Retzlaff’s single-season scoring mark of 612 points.

Bethel followed that performance with another strong night on Friday, leading the Otters to an 80-72 win over Willmar on Senior Night at the Roosevelt Gym.  Bethel led the team with 32 points and 8 assists.
