Huskies Go 2-2 at Bertha-Hewitt Volleyball Tournament

The Pillager Huskies participated in the Bertha-Hewitt volleyball tournament on Saturday, losing to Swanville (25-19, 25-6) and Hillcrest (28-9, 28-12), but winning matches with Hancock (25-21, 25-20) and Cass Lake (25-19, 25-16). 

Top attackers for the day were Makenna Camacho (13 kills), Sophie Schlosser (13 kills), Alivia Brown (8 kills) and Kalyn Karppinen (9 kills).  Ella Barett (30) and Gracie Mudgett (25) combined for 55 set assists.  Dig leaders were Aidyn Schuett (54), Sophia S (33) and Mudget (21).  Sophia Schrom also led the team with 3 ace serves on the day.  Camacho and Schrom led the Huskies in blocks with 5 and 4, respectively.
