“Nobody in school history has reached 1000, let alone 3000,” said head coach Missy Foslien of the Knights. “We were all super proud of her and her selflessness over the five years she has been our varsity setter. She works tirelessly every day and has to be smart with her placement and decision making.”
Grosz got number 3000 in the first set of the first match of the Parkers Prairie Tournament, which the Knights went on to win with a 5-0 record.
Earlier in the week she had impressive stat lines in a 3-0 win over BOLD (33 set assists, 14/14 serving, 2 aces, 11 digs) and a 3-1 loss to Minnewaska Area (34 set assists, 15/16 serving, 1 ace, 16 digs, 3 kills).
