In singles action, Kaia Ness played a steady and consistent match at forth singles to earn the 6-2, 6-4 win fairly routinely.  Ali Bredenberg also handled things in straight sets at third singles.  Ali's match was very competitive with both girls demonstrating an aggressive style of play.  Ali did a nice job of digging deep on the big points and remaining focused to close out her match in straight sets.  Layla Zosel ran into an incredibly athletic and consistent opponent at second singles.  Layla is out there doing her job and working her tail off day in and day out for us.  She's simply hit a stretch of our schedule with some very tough opponents in that two slot.  Ruby Ellison played a nice comeback match for us at first singles.  After dropping the first set 6-4, Ruby battled her way back to earn the second set 7-5 before taking the final set 10-8 in a super tie-breaker. 

The Otters travel to Sauk Rapids Rice on Thursday for yet another section and Central Lakes Conference match at 4:30pm.
