Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton hit 9-of-14 3’s (64.3%) and shot 49% (19-39) from the field on Tuesday as the Rebels defeated third-seeded Plainview-Elgin-Millville 63-61 in the Class AA State quarterfinals at Williams Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
Owen Leach registered a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds to pace the Rebels. He also had 4 assists. Drew Sheely contributed 10 points and 4 assists.
Kaden Peters and Aeron Stevens were in double figures for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, scoring 16 and 14 points, respectively. Stevens also had 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals.
DGF will now face second-seeded Albany in the semifinals at 8:00pm Friday at Target Center.
