Top Seeded Perham Shoots 56% in 92-39 Playoff Win Over Roseau

Top-seeded Perham dominated play against the Roseau Rams on Thursday as they opened the Section 8AA playoffs with a 92-39 victory.  Perham shot 56% (38-68) from the field and made 37% of their 3-point shots (10-27).

Leaders for the Yellowjackets were Soren Anderson (24 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists), Mason Happel (17 points), Micah Thompson (13 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals) and Ashton Detloff (10 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals).  Alex Ohm added 8 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals) and Gage Aanenson had 8 points and 4 assists.

Roseau made only 28.6% (14-49) of their field goal attempts, but connected on 53% (9-17) of their 3’s.  Gunnar Lund led the Rams with 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Evan Butler and Jordan Borowicz contributed 9 and 8 points, respectively.

Perham (22-5) will host the winner of the Fergus Falls at Barnesville game in a 3:00pm start on Saturday at ‘The Hive’.
