Henning senior Mason Hammer delivered 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting, had 6 rebounds and 3 assists to lead the Hornets to a 75-36 victory over the Ashby Arrows on Friday night.  Lane Dilly snared 13 rebounds, including 7 on the offensive boards.  Tyson Misegades had 8 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds.

“Tonight we honored our seniors in their final regular season home game,” said Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “Henning Basketball owes a lot to Riley Bode, Carter Dilly, Mason Hammer, and Tyson Misegades. Those four young men have been a huge part of successful teams over their time in Henning. We’re excited to prepare for post-season play and looking forward to competing in a very deep

Section 6A.”

The only Arrow to reach double figures was Bradee Christianson with 10 points.  Brodie Ecker snared 7 of the Arrows 22 rebounds.  Ashby shot 33% (14/42) from the field.

“Henning was dominant in all phases of the game,” noted Ashby Head Coach John Holsten. “They outshot us, outhustled us, and played very close to mistake free basketball.  We just didn't have an answer for their aggressiveness and skill level.”
