Wisconsin-Eau Claire senior Sophie Rausch, a Fergus Falls High School graduate, set single season records for goals (28) and points (42) when she scored a pair of goals and added an assist in the Blugolds 5-2 win over St. Scholastica on February 8.  Rausch now holds the NCAA Division III lead for goals scored (31) and power play goals (12) this season.  Her assist, which broke the single season points record, came on a goal by fellow Fergus Falls grad Ellie Andersen.  Since that record setting night, Rausch has increased her record point total to 47.  She also has 7 game winning goals this season and plus/minus rating of +29.

Another senior from Fergus Falls, Hallie Sheridan, has scored 14 goals and added 23 assists for 37 total points.  Her plus/minus rating is +22 and she has notched 3 game winning goals.  Andersen, a sophomore for the Bluegolds, has 3 goals and one assist for 4 points.

The Blugolds are the number two seed in the WIAC Tournament.  They will host UW-Stevens Point Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25.  They are currently ranked ninth in the nation.  UW-River Falls is ranked number one and is the top seed in the Tournament.
