The Alexandria Cardinals and Fergus Falls Otters received the top two seeds in the Section 6A Boys Hockey Playoffs and will open the post season with home playoff games on Tuesday night. The Cardinals will entertain Breckenridge/Wahpeton and the Otters will face Prairie Center. Both games start at 7:00pm Tuesday.
Northern Lakes was seeded third and will host Willmar in a quarterfinal round game, and the fourth seed went to Wadena-Deer Creek. The Wolverines will have a home contest against Morris/Benson Area on Tuesday night.
Semifinal contests will be played on Saturday at the MAC in St. Cloud, with games at 4:00pm and 7:00pm. The section final will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 7:00pm, also at the MAC.
