Perham Boys Record Fifth Straight Win

The Perham boys’ basketball team held a 37-23 lead at halftime and held off a second half rally by Watertown-Mayer for a 67-61 victory on Saturday at St. Michael-Albertville.  Perham hit 53% (26-49) of their field goal attempts and 43.5% (10-23) of their 3-point shots.

Micah Thompson (20 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists), Soren Anderson (20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists), Jacob Daniels (14 points, 5 rebounds) and Alex Ohm (10 points, 9 assists) were all in double figures to lead the Yellowjackets.

Albert Rundell scored a game high 26 points to lead Watertown-Mayer.

Perham (15-1) is on a five game winning streak. Perham will play at Frazee on Friday and will face Albany at Alexandria Area High School on Saturday.
